[ONGOING PROJECT]
The world that is and the world that could be is a part of Clémence's research about the future of fashion waste. It is a campaign to discuss Eindhoven’s fashion waste streams, our responsibility, and how to handle it differently. The public will be hand printing with her diagrams on 2nd-hand tops. These diagrams are key-numbers over the city consumption and waste.
This workshop aims to build conversations around clothes waste, in a creative manner, without ‘guilt’ nor consumerist behaviour. It is a shop where the goods exchanged are: time and knowledge. Participants are offered a tag matching the diagram they printed, to pin on their own clothes, spreading the data and making them ‘ambassadors’ of change. They are asked to write down their ideas on tag, that will be pinned on the resting printed tops. A collection of ideas for future clothes waste management.
